 Yishui Fenggao

 Yishui Fenggao (a kind of rice cake), unique to Yishui, has a history of 100 years. As a symbol of a good harvest, Yishui people each year make Fenggao to celebrate the season when the Mid-autumn Festival is approaching. Fenggao is made from high-quality glutinous rice or japonica rice, together with soft sugar, high quality peanut oil, acacia honey, and green-and-red orange filaments. Yishui Fenggao smells the fragrance of rice fields and tastes sweet and crispy. It contains such nutrients as fatty alcohols, protein, and amino acids.
