The 1st Yihe China Water-Ski Open Was Rounded Off

2014 The 1st Yihe International Water-Ski Open was rounded off in Linyi, east China’s Shandong Province on Sep. 21. American player Merritt Remy Carles and Australian player Clifford Harry James won the championship for female and male respectively. 

As the A-level event of the International Water Ski Federation, the 1st Yihe Water-Ski Open attracted about 30 athletes from 16 countries to play against each other for the top prize on Yihe River, Linyi City. In addition to this water-ski game, 2011 China-USA-Australia Show Ski Challenge ae, international competitions held in Linyi including 2010 F1 Powerboat World Championship and the three China Yihe Water Sports Challenges have contributed a lot to Linyi’s construction of the city of aquatic recreational sports.

In particular, before the game was kicked off, a plaque was presented to Linyi City as an expression of thanks by Cuno Richard, Chairman of International Water Ski Federation.
