2015 Lanling Half Marathon was held in Lanling County of Linyi City

 

Men’s top three of 2015 WANTU CUP Lanling Half Marathon held in Lanling County of Linyi City, East China’s Shandong Province on April 25, 2015.

  

Linyi, Apr.26, 2015 ( Linyi China ) -- 2015 WANTU CUP Lanling Half Marathon was held in Lanling County of Linyi City, East China’s Shandong Province on April 25. All of men and women’s first three runners were from Africa, including men’s champion Silah Kipkembo Limo and women’s champion Alice Jemeli Timbilili both from Kenya.

The 2015 WANTU CUP Lanling Half Marathon was sponsored jointly by Chinese Athletic Association, Sports Bureau of Shandong Province, Linyi Municipal People’s Government, and was undertook by Sports Bureau of Linyi City and Lanling County People’s Government. According to organizing committee of the 2015 LHM, it was the second time for Lanling County to host the international half marathon race, and notably, the race consisted of half-marathon (21.0975 km) and mini-marathon (5 km) for both men and women.

Information showed that 103 foreign participants from about 20 countries and regions were attracted to the 2015 LHM , which contributed to the total number of 12,000 participants of this international marathon race. Besides, the route of the 2015 LHM was designed and measured by professional surveyors who were responsible for surveying international marathon track. During the race, runners enjoyed the stunning yellow fields of rape flowers when they pass through the scenic spot Lanling National Agricultural Park.

As runners finished the 2015 LHM race with strong hearts and fierce determination, all of the participants persevered to the end ought to be honored the hero.
