13th Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival of Linyi China Kicked Off

Linyi, Sep. 3, 2015 (Linyi China) -- The 13th Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival of Linyi China Kicked Off at Calligrapher Sage Pavilion, Linyi City, East China’s Shandong Province on Sep. 2. According to schedule provided by the sponsor, the 36-day festival to end on Oct. 7 contains four kinds of events -- art-related exhibitions, cultural activities, expo trade & cultural tour, special forums -- involving 30 items focus on calligraphy or the Calligraphy Sage.

Aims at carrying forward the fine tradition of the Chinese culture, meeting the spiritual and cultural needs of the people, developing the cultural industry, meanwhile, enriching socialist culture in market economy, the 13th Calligrapher Sage Culture Festival of Linyi China offers a culture feast for both well-known literary figures and local citizens.

Several art-related exhibitions will be held during the 13th CSCF: Nan Chao Bei Feng Exquisite Calligraphy Exhibition; Invitation Exhibition of Chinese Painting; other exhibitions of metal & stone seals, seal cutting, formative arts, etc..

Cultural activities include: calligraphy exhibition attended by teenagers from China Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, as well as Japan and South Korea; the opening of Museum of Calligraphy Sage Wang Xizhi; publication of TV drama Calligraphy Sage Wang Xizhi ; performances about Calligraphy Sage at Linyi Theater, etc..
