Linyi is launching the High-Speed Railway

Linyi, Jan. 1, 2015 (Linyi China) – Sources from Shandong Development & Reform Commission on Dec. 31, 2014 said that Linyi was ratified to launch a High-Speed Railway (HSR) which belongs to the Intercity Railway System across South Shandong.

The Intercity Railway System across South Shandong (IRS) plays a significant role in the Three-Vertical & Three-Horizontal Express Railways Network of Shandong Province (TVTH). With a total length of more than 510 kilometers, the trunk railway lines IRS connect Linyi with cities in Shandong Province including Qufu, Heze, Rizhao, as well as Lankao in He’nan Province, which can benefit about 35 million residents all over South Shandong.
