Linyi plans to build towns strong in agricultural industries

Linyi recently launched a notice on the demonstration action of building towns powerful in agricultural industries. According to the notice, the city plans to build several towns strong in agricultural industries at or above the municipal level by the end of the year, focusing on planting, breeding, processing, and cultural and tourism industries with local characteristics such as grain, fruits and vegetables, livestock and poultry, aquatic products, Chinese medical herbs and tea. 

Towns strong in agricultural industries refer to agricultural towns with prominent agricultural leading industries, complete industrial chain, rich new industries and new forms of business, active business subjects and significant income increase of farmers.

According to the notice, towns strong in agricultural industries should aim at one or two dominant industries in accordance with local conditions, concentrate on effective resources, and build large-scale, standardized and specialized green production bases.
