Linyi International Communication Center launched

The Linyi International Communication Center (LICC) was officially inaugurated on the afternoon of March 28, marking a significant step in enhancing the city's global engagement. Hu Junchu, Head of Xinhua News Agency Shandong Branch, Zhu Baoxia, Deputy Director-General of China Daily and Zhao Lijun, Director of China International Communications Group (CICG) Center for Europe and Africa attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

The newly established center aims to serve as a comprehensive international exchange hub and a flagship platform for showcasing Linyi's cultural, tourism, and economic strengths. By integrating news dissemination, cultural-tourism promotion, and trade services, the LICC will adopt a multi-media approach, deliver diversified content, and provide end-to-end support to build a robust global communication network.

Moving forward, the LICC will focus on implementing seven major projects: 

construction of international communication platforms, promoting local brands to explore overseas markets, deepening cultural and commercial exchanges, empowering the "Go Global, Linyi Brands" campaign, building international communication base, establishment of international friendly city network, co-construction of communication practice bases, and cultivation of international communication talents.

Through these efforts, the LICC will work to better present a "truthful, multidimensional, and comprehensive" image of the Linyi to global audiences, thereby injecting fresh momentum into the city's internationalization.

The ceremony included presentations on the LICC's development plan, greetings and cultural exchanges with foreign guests, and the signing of strategic cooperation agreements between Linyi Municipal Publicity Department and Xinhua News Agency, China Daily, and China International Communications Group.
