The third session of the 20th Linyi Municipal People's Congress opened in Linyi city, east China's Shandong province, on January 31. Mayor Zhang Baoliang delivered a government work report at the opening meeting of the annual session of the congress.
Sitting high on the agenda of LINYI TWO SESSIONS 2024, the government work report highlighted a slew of economic data, such as GDP growth, personal income and foreign trade, of Linyi's achievements in 2023 and major targets for 2024.
The two sessions are China's biggest annual political events. LINYI TWO SESSIONS are the annual meetings of municipal-level lawmakers and political advisors, during which plans for local economic and social development in the year ahead are discussed.
The posters below show key achievements of Linyi's economic and social development in 2023.
