Ongoing Linyi searching for new growth drivers

Linyi, May 11 (Linyi China) -- Keeping space with nation's stepping into the new era, Linyi has stepped from high-speed economic growth to high-quality development, and is now working on establishing a new and old kinetic energy conversion pilot zone to bring about economic changes in quality, productivity and stimuli, thus achieving innovative, sustainable and leading advancement.

The State Council authorized in January 2018 the Shandong's Implementation Plan for the New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion Pilot Zone, the first regional development strategy in China approved after the 19th CPC National Congress and also the first one themed on new and old kinetic energy conversion. The plan is officially integrated into national strategy. Shandong will pioneer new and old kinetic energy conversion and seek to be a national demonstration base.

Based on a world vision, the international standard and Linyi's strengths, Linyi has fostered the five new generation emerging industries of information technology, high-end equipment, new energy and advanced materials, modern marine development, and medicine and health.

It has also accelerated traditional industries reconstruction through new technologies and advanced industry models, and sped up development of the high-end chemical industry, modern high-efficiency agriculture, the cultural and creative industry, quality tourism and modern financial services.
