Your honor President Li, Director Liu, Vice-Mayor Wei, President Yue, Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are pleased to be here to represent a country from the heart of Europe. Although Hungary is not a big country, it has lots of business potentials, creativity and beauty.
Hungary’s central location makes it a favourite destination for foreign investors and businessmen who intend to expand their operations in Central Eastern Europe.
The country’s telecommunications, transport and logistics infrastructure, and the quality of education and life have attracted large amounts of foreign businessmen to Hungary in recent years.
The capital, Budapest, is the centre of the country’s economic activity. The country’s favourable geographical location places it at the crossroads of main commercial routes.
From Hungary, a market of some 250 million people can be reached within 600 miles (about 1,000 kilometres).
Hungary is an ideal place for doing business in Europe because
·Ideal geographical position in the centre of Europe for manufacturing, services and logistics
·Excellent infrastructure, ready-made industrial sites, offices and science parks
·Good balance of labour costs and quality
·Governmental incentives (cash subsidy, tax allowance)
·Investment friendly economic policy
·Competitive tax system
I can tell that there is a close cooperation between Hungary and Shandong for many years. For several years we receive exhibitors in Hungary from Shandong and we also send businessmen to Linyi to deepen relationship between the two areas.
Few years ago Shandong Imperial Investment company purchased CECZ (Central-European Trade and Logistics Cooperation Zone) to help Chinese companies to enter to Hungary and Central-Europe.
CECZ is the first trade and logistics type of China National-level oversees economic and trade cooperation zone in the world.
This Linyi owned company is a platform for Linyi and Central-European companies to meet each other and trade with each other and it functions better and better.
Hungary and Linyi can cooperate in several areas. Hungary can take good quality food and wine, mineral water, beauty product to Linyi, Linyi can provide lots of quaility products which is needed in the European Union.
We found good partnership in tourism and logistics as well.
As a represintative of Hungarian purshasers I would like to find further products which fit European market, and find out ways how to cooperate better in the near future.
