Meng Tian: inventor ofinventor of the Chinese brush

Meng Tian (?-210 BC) was a high-ranking military commander under the First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty.

 Meng Tian was a high-ranking military commander under the First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221-207 BC), and was also known as the inventor of the Chinese brush. 

Legend has it that Meng Tian invented the first writing brush using the finest local cony hair and a bamboo tube. At the time, this was known as the Qin brush.
