Trucks loaded with 200 tons of donated high-quality garlic set out from Lanling County, Linyi City, east China’s Shandong Province to Wuhan, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak, on Jan 29.
The local government mobilized specialized vegetable markets, agricultural parks and vegetable farmers to pick the freshest vegetables and also carry out quality inspection, packaging and loading overnight upon receiving instructions from superiors on Jan 28.
Continually, Lanling supported Wuhan with another supply of 160 tons of high-quality and affordable vegetables as needed on Jan. 31.
Enterprises across Lanling county took active measures to collect and donate vegetables.
