Record cold weather freezes Linyi

Remaining on yellow alert for continuous low temperatures, Linyi is experiencing a teeth-chattering cold wave that started on January 5.

According to the Linyi meteorological station, the temperature in Linyi dropped to minus 19.2 degrees Celsius in Mengyin County on Wednesday morning, coldest since 1962 according to the Linyi meteorological station.
