The Linyi Economic and Technological Development Zone: An Investment Platform 

 Linyi Economic and Technological Development Zone starts construction in June, 2003, with a planning area of 223 square kilometers. With approval of the State Council, it has been upgraded to a state-level economic and technological development zone and successively won many honorary titles, namely, National Eco-industrial Demonstration Zone, National Well-known Brands Creation Demonstration Zone, National Top Ten Efficiency Development Zone, China Logistics Exemplary Base, University-industry Cooperation and Innovation Demonstration Base. In recent years, guided by the goal to build a first-rate national economic and technological development zone, Linyi Economic and Technological Development Zone is striving forward from a higher platform to push forward the building of the five areas—Technological Innovation Zone, Modern Industry and Trade Zone, Well-known Brands Zone, Eco-tourism Zone, and Civilization-Harmony Zone.
