An Aerial View of Linyi High-Tech Industrial Development Zone
Linyi High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, with a gross area of 166 square kilometers, has upgraded to a state-level zone with the approval of the State Council in June, 2011. There are 1,056 registered companies, among which 160 are above the designated size. The High-Tech Zone, identified as a national high-tech business incubator, has set up the Pioneer Park for the returned overseas students. The Zone has been rated as Provincial Environment-Friendly Exemplary Park, Provincial Recycling Economy Park, Provincial Information Technology Industry Park and Provincial Energy Conservation and Environment Protection Base. In order to achieve the goal of Linyi Future Eco-technology Base, Linyi High-Tech Zone is carrying out its planning of “Yichengbaqu”, or “one city with eight areas”. One city is Linyi Future Eco-technology Base and the eight areas refer to the areas of digital information, new energy, biomedical medicine, new materials, advanced manufacturing, central business, industry logistics and the Caojiayu scenic spot.
