As the first shopping mall operated independently by a foreign enterprise, the Star Square is invested jointly by Linyi Tianyuan International Logistics Co., Ltd. and Korean Silsang International Co., Ltd. In order to guarantee a successful trial opening on August 15, workers are working against the clock to complete the interior decoration of the mall.

Compared with several preferential policies provided by Qingdao, the convenient and low-cost logistics in Linyi are more attractive for the Korean enterprise. In addition to Linyi’s superior logistics, other preferential policies such as convenient customs clearance policy, tax support and fiscal support are extremely inviting for Korean Silsang.

To insure that Star Square is better able to operate, a new company named K&C has set up by Saisang. Based on the good cooperative relationships between Tianyuan and Silsang, these two enterprises are planning to establish a joint venture company to export products from Linyi to Korea.

Further integrating the strategy of "bringing in" and "going global", while introducing investment from abroad and establish lateral ties with enterprises at home, Linyi and Korea are making a concerted effort to develop the bilateral economy.
