Linyi established sister–city ties with Albany, WA

On the afternoon of July 16, Linyi City was twinned with Albany, Australia at the Signing Ceremony between Linyi and Albany on the Establishment of Friendship-City Relationship.

Located 406 km south east of Perth on the South Coast of Western Australia, Albany is the major centre on WA’s south coast and the oldest European settlement in the state. It is one of the States’ leading holiday centers. The harbours, rivers and estuaries provide excellent fishing and sailing, while spectacular coastal scenery, beaches and nearby National Parks provide a wide variety of activities for visitors.

Except for its rich tourism resources, Albany Port was the first Port in Western Australia, being the site of the first European settlement in WA in 1826. For many years it was the only port for the state and its growing population.
