Linyi listed among Top 100 Cities in Digital Economy for 2024

On November 27, CCID Consulting published the “2024 China Urban Digital Economy Development Research Report” and announced the Top 100 Cities in Digital Economy for 2024. Among them, Shanghai, Chongqing, and Beijing ranked as the top three in terms of digital economy development vitality.

Shandong has a total of 11 cities on the list, namely Qingdao, Jinan, Yantai, Weifang, Linyi, Jining, Zibo, Dezhou, Weihai, Tai’an, and Binzhou.

In recent years, Shandong has vigorously implemented ten major projects for digital industrialization and eight actions for industrial digitalization with the aim of accelerating the integration of the real economy and digital economy. The digital industrialization has significantly progressed, with the province’s information technology industry revenue reaching 980.92 billion yuan in the first half of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 14.9%. The increment in industrial digitalization has also improved, with investments of 7,879 technology transformation projects exceeding 5 million yuan, and over 500 service providers currently gathered to offer transformation services to more than 6,000 enterprises.
