Legend of the Filial Daughter-in-law of Donghai County

 Tomb of the Filial Daughter-in-law of Donghai County

 The legend was firstly carried out by the Book of Former Han. The filial widow was left alone without any child, but she was a filial daughter-in-law to her mother. She took such a good care of her mother-in-law that her mother-in-law was so grateful to her and would not be her burdens and got herself hanged. However, the filial daughter-in-law was wronged to put into prison and died there. This legend is of much historical and educational value, which promotes the harmony of our society.
