As “the village of China wood willow craft”, Tanghe Town, Hedong District of Linyi City has a long history of planting and processing wood willow. In recent years, Tanghe Town has been striving to create the regional brand of “Tanghe Straw and Willow Weaving”. Nowadays, the area of salix integra in Tanghe Town has reached 27 thousand mu (about 1800 hectares) and farmers’ total revenue of willow planting has risen above RMB 200 million yuan.
