 Originated from Xiaoguo of Xingming village in Cangshan County in Linyi, Cangshan Xiaoguo Clay Sculpture prevailed during the reign of Xianfeng in Qing dynasty (1851-1862). Till now it has nearly 200 years of history. Cangshan Clay Sculpture has a great range of varieties, which has amounted to over 100 categories and it has been prevalent at home and abroad. In December 2006, Cangshan Clay Sculpture was selected into provincial intangible cultural heritage list by the government of Shandong Province.
