A Jade Burial Suit means a suit of jade clothes sewn with gold wire.
This Jade Burial Suit of the Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-A.D. 24) was excavated at Hong Jia Dian in Linyi City, East China’s Shandong Province in May, 1978. It contains five parts including head covering, gloves, and footwear totally with 1140 pieces of blue jade slips. At this distance of time, the jade slips were partially subjected to erosion.
