2025 Int'l Volunteer Day & Shandong Volunteer Service Project Competition Exhibition and Exchange Event held in Linyi

Linyi, Dec. 4 - On the 40th International Volunteer Day, on the morning of December 3rd, the 2025 International Volunteer Day & Shandong Province Volunteer Service Project Competition Exhibition and Exchange Event was held in our city. Zhou Liwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department; Xu Fushun, Chairman of the China Volunteer Service Foundation; Zhai Luning, President of the Provincial Volunteer Service Federation; Li Bo, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Volunteer Service Foundation; Yang Yuantian, Minister of the Social Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the "Two New" Working Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; Zhang Baoliang, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Qi Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, attended the event.

The theme of this event is “Gathering Volunteer Power to Build a Better Society”. We will deeply study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s congratulatory letter to the Third Member Representative Conference of the China Federation of Volunteer Service, implement the central deployment of volunteer service and the requirements of the provincial party committee. Strengthen the promotion of the “Four out of 100 people” advanced models and award winning projects of national volunteer service in our province through deeds preaching and project exhibitions. We will powerful promote the spirit of volunteerism throughout society and create a strong atmosphere for everyone to participate in volunteer service. At the event site, the theme volunteer service activity of “Volunteers accompany the exciting Provincial Games” was also launched for the 26th Provincial Games. 50 volunteer service “projects including me”, “safe protection” and “national fitness” were announced. To award flags to 10 volunteer service teams including government agencies, institutions, universities, communities and new employment groups. 

City leaders Xiao Yongtao and Wang Yinghai respectively participated in relevant activities.
