German expert hails Shandong as top talent destination

Professor Werner Nau, a German scholar who has worked closely with Shandong's research institutions, expressed his fondness for the province at the 4th Shandong Talent Innovation and Development Fair on May 13.

Referring to Shandong as his "second home", he praised the province's efficient government services, excellent research facilities, and professional, supportive people. "From long-term visa support that allows me to visit multiple times a year to top hardware, everything is excellent," he said.

Moreover, Nau said he will recommend Shandong to European countries as a leading destination for overseas talent, citing its numerous university resources and academic spirit as key drivers for international research collaboration.
