Lanshan prioritizes people's well-being to practice sound performance philosophy

Lanshan District of Linyi takes people's sense of gain, happiness and security as the core standard for evaluating government performance. Focusing on public demands, the district has sorted out 218 livelihood projects at government departments and 7,326 minor issues from grassroots Party branches, translating public needs into tangible achievements.

The district has improved public legal services by launching green channels for vulnerable groups including the elderly, minors and migrant workers, and optimized service procedures such as flexible document acceptance to raise the quality of legal aid. In terms of grassroots medical care, all 310 integrated village clinics have completed standardized upgrading, forming a two-way referral system between township hospitals and village clinics that delivers quality medical resources to rural areas. Meanwhile, communities have launched digital service mini-programs and door-to-door visits to solve residents’problems at the community level.

Adhering to a people-centered development philosophy, Lanshan keeps refining grassroots public services. Its practices set a good example for Linyi to optimize livelihood security systems and promote the coordinated development of urban and rural public services.
