On the morning of May 17, the launch ceremony for the 2026 Linyi "May 18 International Museum Day" and "May 19 China Tourism Day" series of events was held at the Beicheng Exhibition Area of the Linyi Museum.
During the ceremony, the organizing committee officially unveiled the activity plan for this year's series, announced the list of Outstanding Folk Museum Exhibitions in Linyi for 2025, and revealed the city's museum cultural and creative pilot units along with new cultural and creative products from folk museums. The Linyi International Communication Center, together with four international students from Linyi University, jointly promoted the museum's precious artifacts, showcasing Linyi's cultural heritage to a global audience.
At the event, representatives from museums, memorial halls, primary and secondary schools, and tourist attractions signed the "Cultural Relics · Fusion Cube" museum-school-scenic spot cooperation agreement, promoting the deep integration of cultural relics resources with education and tourism. The exhibition hall featured a wide array of precious artifacts, while the cultural and creative market showcased exquisite intangible cultural heritage handicrafts, attracting numerous citizens to visit and experience the offerings.
This series of events will further enrich the spiritual and cultural life of citizens, enhance the social educational function of museums, and promote the high-quality development of Linyi's cultural and tourism industry.
