Linyi manufacturing and commodity enterprises face barriers in direct contact with Southeast Asian buyers due to limited overseas offline exhibition opportunities. The 2026 "Linyi Enterprises Link the Globe" Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference opened on June 25 to build face-to-face docking channels.
More than 20 purchasing representatives from over a dozen countries and regions visited Linyi, conducting one-on-one business negotiations with over 70 local manufacturers covering hardware, daily goods, textiles and agricultural products. The event simplifies cross-border communication links, shortens order negotiation cycles and helps local brands tap ASEAN consumer markets under the RCEP framework. The municipal commerce authority provided whole-process translation, policy consultation and customs guidance services for all participating merchants.
Targeted overseas buyer matchmaking activities expand Linyi's ASEAN trade layout. The city will regularly hold cross-border procurement fairs to deepen economic and trade ties with Southeast Asian member states of RCEP.
