Following the city's "Thousands of Groups Go Global" initiative, a local food entrepreneur from Linyi built chain supermarkets across Malaysia, bringing authentic Chinese flavors to local market shelves.

The merchant runs comprehensive supermarkets covering domestic snacks, seasonings, grain and oil, canned fruits and Linyi-made daily goods. He established stable supply chains linking Linyi Trade City manufacturers with Malaysian retail outlets, cutting intermediate circulation links to lower commodity prices for local consumers.

Long-term field research on Malaysian catering and consumption habits helped the operator select marketable Chinese food products. He set up local warehousing and distribution centers in Kuala Lumpur to guarantee fast replenishment for over 20 retail stores nationwide.

The cross-border food supply chain opens new overseas sales channels for Linyi's food processing enterprises, expanding the influence of "Made in Linyi" in Southeast Asian consumer markets. The entrepreneur plans to open more chain stores and enrich product categories in the next two years to deepen market layout in Malaysia.
