10-day countdown to opening of the 26th Shandong Province Sports Games

The 26th Shandong Province Sports Games will officially open at Linyi Olympic Sports Park Stadium on August 26, marking a milestone comprehensive sports event for the Yimeng old revolutionary base, with a 10-day countdown underway.

This edition sets 38 major events and 1,081 minor competitions, with participating athletes and spectator scale hitting record highs in Shandong's provincial games history. The opening ceremony performance centers on the Yimeng Spirit, integrating red culture, Linyi's calligraphy heritage and modern industrial achievements into immersive stage scenes.

A complete city-wide volunteer service network has been built covering stadiums, transport hubs, scenic spots and business districts. Full medical security, traffic diversion and catering guarantee plans are fully finalized. All competition venues pass acceptance inspection and are ready to welcome athletes from 16 prefecture-level cities of Shandong.
