Rehearsals kick off for opening ceremony of the 26th Shandong Province Sports Games
Full-scale rehearsals for the grand opening ceremony of the 26th Shandong Province Sports Games are in full swing at Linyi Olympic Sports Park Stadium, drawing wide anticipation from sports fans across Shandong Province.
Scheduled to open on August 26, the ceremony takes the theme Journey Through Mountains and Rivers, Dynamic Yimeng, with three narrative chapters reviewing revolutionary history, showcasing modern industrial vitality and outlining future high-quality development of the old revolutionary base.
More than 800 student performers from Linyi University and dozens of grassroots amateur troupes take part in the integrated theatrical show. The performance perfectly combines dance, holographic light effects and live singing to interpret the profound Yimeng Spirit in a modern audiovisual style.
All backstage audio, lighting and stage mechanical equipment have completed repeated debugging. Volunteer service teams conduct venue simulation drills to guarantee seamless operation on opening night. As the first provincial games hosted in Linyi, the event will present a distinctive cultural feast for all participants and spectators.
