AI video traces Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy and loyalty

An AI-generated video released by the Linyi converged media center traces the life of Yan Zhenqing, the Tang Dynasty calligrapher whose style became known as the Yan school.

The video describes how Yan built his foundation practicing calligraphy on loess, used his brush to express loyalty and righteousness, defended an isolated city during the Pingyuan uprising, poured his family's grief into the "Draft of a Requiem to My Nephew," and remained steadfast unto death in his later years — continuing the Langya cultural lineage through both brush and ink and moral courage.
