Companies signed cooperation agreements on the spot at a matchmaking event held in Linyi, East China's Shandong province, drawing praise from the president of the Romania-China House Economic Chamber.
The event brought together Romanian buyers and Linyi suppliers in sectors including building materials, machinery, home goods and food, with participants holding one-on-one business talks before signing.
The matchmaking session formed part of a China (Linyi) – Central and Eastern Europe cooperation program that Linyi has used to build trade links with the region under the Belt and Road Initiative.
