
LINYI, Dec. 29 - On December 27, international students from Linyi University joined local children in Yinhe Community, Lanshan District, Linyi City, for a paper-cutting cultural experience activity, exploring the charm of Chinese intangible cultural heritage through hands-on practice and interaction.

International students visited the community cultural space to learn about traditional culture preservation and neighborhood building. Teachers from Linyi's Traditional Culture Studio then introduced the history and meaning of paper-cutting. Working together with local children, the students created their own paper-cut artworks.

After the event, international students said that the experience not only allowed them to witness the precision and wisdom of Chinese craftsmanship but also deeply understand the cultural values and harmonious spirit of Chinese communities.

The event enabled international students to experience intangible cultural heritage firsthand, promoting cultural transmission.
