Since the beginning of this year, Lanshan District in Linyi has been advancing the integrated development of commerce, culture, and tourism, transforming traditional wholesale markets into cultural tourism destinations. The district has crafted a new all-for-one tourism pattern that features “shopping at markets by day and cruising the Yihe River by night,” fostering mutual reinforcement between commerce, culture, and tourism.

Key markets including Huafeng International Garment City, Linyi Small Commodity City, and China International Food City have been upgraded with tourism-friendly features. These venues now incorporate intangible cultural heritage experiences, trendy bazaars, and food study tours, evolving into cultural tourism spaces that are “browsable, playable, and shoppable.” The Cement Plant No. 2 Creative Park has revitalized its industrial heritage, becoming a retro-chic hotspot for visitors.

As night falls, Yizhou Lane and the New Langya Block are ablaze with lights. Traditional Chinese cultural performances, water curtain light shows, and local delicacies come together, illuminating the “Night Tour of Langya” as the core hub of the night economy. By connecting six featured destinations to create an integrated commerce-culture-tourism chain and allocating special incentive funds to amplify its brand influence, Lanshan District is striving to build itself into a modern, livable city that is also ideal for business and tourism.
