
(Kuala Lumpur, May 22) — The 2026 China (Shandong)-Malaysia brands exhibition & trade fair was grandly held in Putrajaya, Malaysia on May 22. Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia, Datuk Chan Foong Hin, attended the opening ceremony and had cordial exchanges with nearly 300 entrepreneurs from Shandong, discussing the bright prospects of economic and trade cooperation between Shandong and Malaysia.

The expo was guided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia and the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, hosted by the Malaysia Shandong Qilu Chamber of Commerce and the China-SCO Sci-Tech Innovation Cooperation Center (Malaysia), co-organized by Shandong Lanhua Group and the MCA Committee on China Affairs and the Belt and Road Initiative, and supported by the Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau, Linyi Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM), and the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC), among other institutions.
The expo features over 160 booths, including more than 100 from Shandong enterprises and nearly 50 from Malaysian enterprises. Products on display cover food, hardware and safety supplies, automotive products, outdoor goods, home textiles, office furniture, and more. During the expo, organizers will hold eight thematic sharing sessions on topics such as Malaysia's halal certification system, e-commerce operation techniques, and practical guidance on cross-border capital management, tax compliance, and financial regulations.

In addition, the expo has set up special zones including a halal food zone and a cultural tourism zone, and will host multiple promotional events.

The expo will run for three days from May 22 to 24, with free admission for the public. The first 300 registered visitors each day will receive a exquisite gift.
