Tancheng launches field classes to promote farming education

On June 14, Tianyi Experimental Primary School of Tancheng County moved labor classes to farmland. Professional agricultural technicians introduced grain production knowledge and guided students to experience farming work on site.

The immersive field classes help students learn about the whole process of grain planting and harvesting. It enables teenagers to understand the hardships of agricultural production, foster the awareness of cherishing food and carry forward the traditional virtue of thrift. This innovative labor education method combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

Linyi attaches great importance to all-round education for teenagers. The city will continue to promote field labor classes, integrate farming culture into school education, and cultivate students'  labor spirit and sense of social responsibility.
