2026 China Kayaking open kicks off along yi river in Linyi

On june 27, the 2026 China Kayaking open officially launched at fengfan square waters of yi river. The competition is divided into youth, open, mass and master groups, attracting 327 athletes from 21 provinces nationwide to compete on the river. Paddling contestants formed a unique dynamic landscape, drawing crowds of citizens to watch along the bank. The event organically combines professional competitive sports with public waterfront leisure, creating brand-new consumption scenes for riverside cultural tourism.

Linyi will actively introduce more national-level water sports events in the future. The city will fully tap the ecological and tourism value of yi river and realize coordinated integrated development of sports, ecology and waterfront cultural tourism.
