CR Express special train for Lingong supply chain departs Linyi for Moscow

Amid heavy rain on the evening of June 29, a customized China Railway Express special train for Lingong Group departed from Linyi Jitie Logistics Park in Yitang Town, Lanshan District, Linyi.

Loaded with complete sets of construction machinery including loaders and road rollers manufactured by Shandong Lingong, the cargo totals an estimated value of 19 million yuan and will arrive in Moscow, Russia after a 15-day cross-border journey. The tailor-made supply chain train is specially launched by Shandong CR Express to address long-standing logistics pain points for large engineering machinery exports. Compared with sea freight, rail transit cuts delivery time by nearly half, featuring stable schedules, high safety and lower comprehensive logistics costs.

Multiple local authorities including Linyi railway and customs departments coordinated closely to optimize loading, customs clearance and cross-border transport procedures, building a one-stop efficient international logistics channel for local manufacturing enterprises. As one of China’s top three engineering machinery exporters and a global Top 50 construction machinery firm, Lingong benefits greatly from the stable rail route to speed up overseas market expansion.

The special train further brightens the international brand of “Made in Linyi”. It is a concrete practice of Linyi integrating into the Belt and Road Initiative, optimizing multi-modal transport systems and boosting the global competitiveness of local high-end equipment manufacturing. Moving forward, Linyi will keep rolling out customized CR Express trains for key industrial enterprises to smooth the export channel for high-value local products.
