Complete industrial chain drives farmers’prosperity via honey peach cultivation in Mengyin County

On July 1, fruit farmers in Chenjiazhuang Village, Mengyin Subdistrict of Mengyin County sorted fresh honey peaches, with cold-chain trucks ready to transport the ripe fruits nationwide. Mengyin boasts a full honey peach industrial chain covering planting, sorting, cold-chain logistics and e-commerce sales.

The county produces over one billion jin of honey peaches annually without unsold stock. During peak harvest season, more than 2,000 large trucks depart daily, supported by a permanent fleet of nearly 6,000 freight vehicles; an additional 300 to 500 e-commerce cold-chain shuttles operate every day to deliver peaches across the country.

Integrating standardized planting, intensive processing and nationwide logistics distribution, Mengyin's honey peach industrial cluster forms a sustainable rural vitalization model, steadily raising local fruit farmers’income and building Mengyin's signature agricultural brand of “China’s Capital of Honey Peaches”.
