Men's rugby events wrap up at Linyi University for Shandong 26th sports games

The men's rugby competition of the 26th Shandong Provincial Sports Games concluded successfully at the stadium of Linyi University on July 5. A total of 220 athletes from 11 prefecture-level cities across Shandong took part in the three-day contest, competing for gold medals in group A and group B.

Despite high temperature in summer, all teams competed with high morale and tenacious sportsmanship. Players delivered intense, exciting matches and showcased outstanding athletic skills as well as the positive spirit of mass sports participants in Shandong.

Hosting provincial high-level sports events enhances Linyi's comprehensive capacity to hold large-scale competitions, promotes national fitness culture, and integrates mass sports development with cultural tourism industries in Yimeng area.
