Volunteer teams carry out environmental renovation in rural villages of Lanshan

On July 14, volunteer volunteers in Xiaolin Village, Zaoyuan Town, Lanshan District launched regular rural environmental improvement activities focusing on garbage classification popularization and village cleaning work.

Volunteers wearing red vests set classified waste bins at village roads, gave face-to-face guidance to villagers on sorting standards, and distributed environmental publicity leaflets. The village organizes weekly volunteer cleaning operations covering main roads, residential yards, ditches and public squares. Promotional campaigns on garbage sorting, sewage treatment and crop straw burning ban are held continuously to cultivate villagers’environmental awareness.

Long-term volunteer participation forms a mass-driven rural governance mechanism. The joint efforts of volunteers and residents continuously upgrade rural living environments and build livable and beautiful countryside across Linyi.
