Pingyi's Juncheng town develops giant labor glove industry cluster

On July 23, workers at Shandong Hengdeli Gloves Co., Ltd. in Juncheng Town, Pingyi County, rushed to produce high-end functional labor protection gloves for domestic and overseas markets.

Juncheng Town is known as China's Cotton Gloves City, with over 40 years of glove industrial development and a complete whole industrial chain for glove manufacturing.

The town gathers more than 700 enterprises engaged in cotton yarn and glove production. Its knitted yarn labor protection gloves account for 60 percent of the national market share.

In recent years, local authorities have pushed industrial upgrading of the glove sector, strengthening this characteristic wealth-boosting industry. The cluster creates stable nearby jobs for rural residents and guarantees steady household income growth for local villagers.
