Jinhe River becomes popular summer resort in Pingyi

Jinhe River in Bolin Town, Pingyi County has risen as a viral summer cooling getaway nestled at the foot of Mengshan Mountain, driving integrated rural cultural tourism and rural vitalization.

The waterway stretches across several villages including Lijiashiwu, Zhangli and Cujiayu, fed by constant mountain spring water with clear, cool water all year round. Relying on superior aquatic ecology, Pingyi built an integrated industrial layout linking ecological water play, ancient stone village sightseeing, red research tours, mountain homestays and rural leisure.

Every day, more than 2,000 adults and children come to wade and cool off along the river, with visitor numbers spiking on weekends.
