Pollution-free grape industry booms in Daxing town, Linshu

Daxing Town of Linshu County develops pollution-free grape cultivation into a thriving characteristic agricultural industry with integrated production and sales.

In late July and August, high-quality seedless grapes ripen in standardized greenhouses across Changchang Family Farm and dozens of village planting bases. Adopting bagging green planting technology, local grapes are free of pesticide residues, with market prices reaching 10 yuan per kilogram and output per mu over 2,000 kilograms.

Rural roads upgraded to connect planting zones with tourist parking lots, boosting agritainment picking tours. Local farmers sell fresh grapes via live-streaming e-commerce and wholesale long-distance markets across Shandong and Jiangsu provinces.

The town unifies brand building for local grapes, building cold storage warehouses to extend sales cycles beyond the ripening season. Grape planting has become a steady income source for local farmers, driving the development of rural sightseeing and fruit processing sideline businesses.
