The fourth Shandong (Yishui) Food Expo kicked off on Aug 9 in Yishui county, Linyi, Shandong province. The three-day event combines large rural bazaars with professional food exhibitions, uniting manufacturers, distributors and local residents for trade and consumption integration.

Covering a total exhibition area of 35,000 square meters, the expo sets up six major zones and eight food categories, gathering more than 500 exhibitors nationwide. It showcases regional public brand products, domestic famous snacks and imported food goods from multiple countries. The upgraded "Yishui Food Cloud" digital platform realizes synchronous online display, live streaming and order matching alongside offline booths.
Supported by the China Food Industry Association, the expo holds a series of supporting activities including supplier-buyer matchmaking meetings and industrial development forums. As a well-known food manufacturing base with over 40 years of industrial history, Yishui boasts 520 food processing enterprises and holds dominant national market shares in sachima, grain starch and enzyme preparations.
The event builds an integrated communication platform for product display, order negotiation and industrial exchange, further activating domestic consumption demand and boosting high-quality upgrading of Yishui's characteristic food industrial cluster. On site, merchants reached intentional cooperation orders while citizens sampled and purchased various local specialties, creating a lively market atmosphere.
