Yihe New Area launches student grant program to support college freshmen

A financial aid ceremony was held at Youxin Village, Bashabu Town, Yihe New District on August 14, granting stipends to newly admitted university students to support their pursuit of higher education.

Local authorities launched the grant program to foster a social atmosphere valuing education and motivate young students to strive for excellence. The village committee distributed cash subsidies to each freshman, aiming to cut household education expenses and encourage rural youth to chase academic dreams.

Residents said the targeted support fully reflects the community's care for students, lighting up the path of knowledge for young learners.
