Five‑year warm‑hearted volunteer tradition continues in Shenquanzhuang community of Linyi

On Qixi Festival, August 19, community volunteers from Shenquanzhuang Community, Luozhuang Sub‑district, visited the local senior apartment to carry out their annual warm‑hearted public‑welfare activity which has run for five consecutive years.

Volunteers took commemorative Qixi‑themed portraits for more than ten elderly couples who have spent decades of life together. The photos record tender moments of mutual support and deep affection built up over long‑time marriage in their later years.

Every year on Qixi Festival, the volunteer team comes to the senior apartment to capture precious frames for elderly husbands and wives. These pictures preserve the warmth of companionship and pass forward the community’s fine tradition of respecting and caring for senior residents.
