Autumn grain harvest is in full swing across Linyi's farmland. Large‑scale combine harvesters shuttle back and forth on high‑standard croplands in Tancheng, Linshu, Yinan and other counties, reaping corn, threshing grains and loading produce onto transport vehicles in one integrated operation.

Under the national strategy of “storing grain in land and technology”, Linyi makes full use of modern agricultural machinery during autumn harvest. Crawler‑type grain harvesters adapt well to moist soil after autumn rainfall, avoiding operational difficulties that would trouble ordinary wheeled machines. After harvesting, straw is crushed and returned to farmland as organic fertilizer for the next crop cycle.

After reaping, corn is immediately sent to grain‑drying facilities. A network of drying stations across towns and villages ensures timely dehydration of freshly‑harvested grain, preventing mildew caused by high moisture content in autumn weather and securing the goal of “grain fully stored in granaries”.

Farmers and agricultural‑technical staff keep close watch over field conditions. Agricultural departments coordinate scheduling for harvesters, transport trucks and drying equipment, optimize machinery allocation across townships, and deliver on‑site technical guidance to rural households during the autumn‑rush campaign.

These harvest‑season images capture vigorous autumn agricultural production scenes on Yimeng plains, demonstrating solid achievements of Linyi in safeguarding food security and advancing modern mechanized farming.
