Linyi tops medal table and overall score ranking at Shandong provincial paralympic & special‑olympics games

The 12th Provincial Games for Persons with Disabilities & 1st Special Olympics Games of Shandong Province concluded successfully. Delegation from Linyi secured first place on both the medal table and total‑points ranking, delivering outstanding competitive results at the grand disabled‑sports gala hosted at Linyi Olympic Sports Park.

During the multi‑day competition, Linyi athletes competed across athletics, swimming, table tennis, badminton and other events. They demonstrated the spirit of self‑respect, self‑confidence, self‑improvement and self‑reliance, chasing personal bests and winning numerous medals for the city.

Hosting this provincial‑level event also drove comprehensive upgrades to Linyi's barrier‑free facilities, volunteer‑service capacity and public awareness of inclusive development.
