Yimeng's autumn landscape drew crowds to Linyi in East China's Shandong province over the National Day holiday, with both the cultural tourism market and the sports and performance sector heating up. Amid heavy visitor flows, civilized and orderly conduct became a notable feature of the holiday.

Langya Ancient City's popularity climbed steadily, receiving more than 400,000 visitors in the first four days of the holiday and making the national top 10 list for scenic area popularity. Visitors explored the ancient streets in an orderly way, avoiding damage to plants and facilities.

Suburban leisure sites were equally busy. Linyi Zoo and Botanical Garden saw steady vehicle and visitor traffic, with many families enjoying nature with children and following civilized travel habits. The riverside scenic area became a preferred spot for relaxation, where residents camped, sat and enjoyed outdoor barbecues while taking their litter away. At Hewan Park, fields of pink muhly grass drew visitors who photographed them gently and observed them with care.

Night-time activity was also vibrant. Concerts at the Linyi Olympic Sports Center drew large numbers of fans who entered in an orderly manner and kept quiet during performances. After the shows, audiences took their litter with them.

The smooth running of the busy holiday depended on support staff on duty throughout. During the holiday, the city's urban management, culture and tourism, and public security departments stayed at their posts, maintaining environmental order, directing traffic and managing crowds. Volunteers were visible at scenic areas, parks and around the Olympic Sports Center, offering information, guidance, assistance and crowd management.
